These Terms and Conditions govern all sales of astronomy and solar observation equipment offered on the website Store Eclipse.

By placing an order, the customer confirms having read, understood, and accepted these Terms as well as the Return & Refund Policy.

2. Products

Products are described and presented with the greatest possible accuracy.

However:

  • Minor variations (color, packaging, technical updates) may occur
  • Product images are non-contractual

The seller reserves the right to modify product specifications at any time without prior notice.

3. Pricing

Prices are indicated in Euros (€), including all applicable taxes (VAT).

Shipping costs are calculated and displayed before order confirmation.

The seller reserves the right to modify prices at any time. Products will be invoiced based on the price applicable at the time of order confirmation.

4. Order Process

The customer is responsible for verifying the accuracy of all information provided before confirming the order.

Once validated, the order is considered final.

An order confirmation email will be sent automatically.

The seller reserves the right to cancel or refuse any order in case of:

  • Payment issues
  • Suspected fraud
  • Abnormal or abusive order patterns

5. Payment

Payment is due immediately upon order.

All transactions are processed through secure third-party providers.
The seller does not store payment information.

6. Delivery

Products are delivered to the address provided by the customer.

Delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

The seller shall not be held responsible for delays caused by:

  • Carriers
  • Customs
  • External events beyond control

Risk transfers to the customer upon delivery.

7. Right of Withdrawal and Returns

Customers benefit from a legal right of withdrawal in accordance with applicable European laws.

By placing an order, the customer explicitly agrees to these conditions.

The customer is informed that:

  • Refunds are subject to inspection and are not automatic

8. Legal Guarantees

All products benefit from legal guarantees, including:

9. Safety Disclaimer – Solar Observation

Solar observation products must be used strictly in accordance with safety instructions.

By purchasing these products, the customer acknowledges that:

  • Observing the sun without proper certified protection is extremely dangerous
  • Improper use can cause irreversible eye injury
  • The seller cannot control actual conditions of use

The seller shall not be held liable for any damage resulting from:

  • Misuse or improper handling
  • Use without appropriate filters
  • Use of damaged or modified equipment
  • Use by minors without appropriate supervision

The customer assumes full responsibility for the safe use of all purchased products.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the seller shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential damages
  • Loss of revenue, profit, or data
  • Damage resulting from improper use of products

In any case, the seller’s liability shall be strictly limited to the amount paid for the product.

11. Force Majeure

The seller shall not be held responsible for failure or delay in performance due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:
natural disasters, strikes, supply chain disruptions, or governmental actions.

12. Dispute Resolution

In case of dispute, the customer is encouraged to contact customer service first to seek an amicable solution.

Failing agreement, disputes shall fall under the jurisdiction of the competent French courts.

13. Mediation

In accordance with consumer protection laws, customers may have access to a consumer mediation service.

14. Applicable Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by French law.
